The Eastside Neighborhood Association (ESNA) is a not for profit community based organization that is celebrating it's 25th year. Our primary mission is to preserve and protect the Eastside Neighborhood of Paterson. The recent designation as a State and Federal Historic District is a testament to the strength of this organization. This website is intended to provide many useful resources for our neighbors as well as gather information to document the history of the people and the homes they lived in. Members can use this website to stay current with events in the area that effect our neighborhood. Go to our membership page and see when the next meeting is scheduled or if a new business has joined our discount club. Whether you are a current homeowner or an alumnus of the Eastside, we want your knowledge of these beautiful old houses for our historical biographies. We are looking for dates of ownership, renovation details and most importantly memories of living on the Eastside. Tell us what it was like to live here back in "the good old days". Write about the neighbors that lived in the other houses on your block. As an added benefit we hope this forum will put old friends back in touch with each other. Maybe you can plan to meet at a future house tour! As you may have noticed we are continuously changing this site to better serve our community. Please feel free to send us any articles of interest or events you would like added. |
